I figured it out!

Hideo Kojima is actually George Lucas in disguise!

This is one tedious game to sit through. It's a shame. With the gameplay being nearly perfect, it's sad to see the cutscenes, story and script keep it from being the greatest game made on consoles.

I can't help but compare this to Lucas' Star Wars episodes 1-3. Someone should have stepped in or talked to Kojima about making the script more concise.

Kojima, we don't need to be spoon fed. It's like he's treating us as we're vegetables on life support.

Did I mention the gameplay is excellent though?
