Double XP weekend is back with Grifball! If it wasn't for this ingenious creation by the Red vs. Blue gang, Halo 3 would be my dust catcher.
Scratch that.
It has been since GTA IV...nevermind.
IT'S BACK! Now that I have completed GTA, I can finally get back to Halo. Have you played this fantastic game type yet? If not, check out Grifball's site. You'll find the necessary videos and such to get caught up.
Last season, my team started off bad. Like, really bad. We were known as the most improved team by the end though since we almost won our last game against first place in our division. Instead of being last, we tied for third.
Here are the basics:
The game is based off the assault game type on the Foundry map. In the middle of the map, you'll find the bomb, and each team has a goal on opposite sides of the map. When the match begins, you try to get the bomb and place it on your enemies goal.
Kinda like EVERY SPORT EVER.
Players have swords and hammers. Bomb runners, people who pick up the bomb, get an overshield with an added speed boost. Hammers alone will allow players to perform incredible stunts like super jumps. Play it or watch the videos and you'll know what I mean.
Team coordination and communication is key.
Try it out. It's a must if you have Halo 3. Oh, and forgive me if this becomes a Grifball blog when the next season begins.
Yeah, I'm that obsessed.
