GoW: More Bad.A?

It's the first post for 99 Continues, and I'll let you wander over to the profile to find out more about me.

Let's get into it, shall we?

I'm sure most of you have seen the new Gears of War 2 (or, GoW: 'More Badass') footage.  If not, clickee below.

My response is simple:  Really?  What stands out that's different and more Bad.A?  Good.  Cliffy included some enemies that should have been in the first one.  Check.

Now we have dueling chainsaw fights?  Sure, it looked pretty cool the first time.  I'm sure it's going to get frustrating rather quickly when it happens more frequently than it should.

Anyone else get frustrated with the dueling swords in Halo 3?  My point exactly.

Don't get me wrong though.  GoW was a great game.  It's one of the few that I played through a second time.  But we're not being handed sequels.  These are more like $60 expansion packs.  It will be a good game.  I'm sure of that.  Now, what would I like to see?  I'd like to see more customization.  More maps.  Bigger battles on Live, and yes, more in-game capturing utilities.
